This page gives you details of the training days that have been set up around the UK for NARRS volunteers. Attending a training day is not mandatory, and these events are aimed at people who need training or would like to brush up on their skills. The training days will provide the necessary training for surveyors to take part in the National Amphibian Survey and/or National Reptile Survey. This includes amphibian and reptile identification, habitat assessment, survey methods, NARRS instructions and protocols, health and safety, licensing, and landowner permissions. Attendees will receive their National Amphibian Survey and/or National Reptile Survey packs at the training events.
